    Pocket Network itself is focused around decentralized infrastructure, but I wouldn't be surprised, once more people *get it*, to see more projects popping up applying the same economic ideas to different protocols and seeing the same success that Pocket has been showing.

    I think the most brilliant part of Pocket Network itself is the economics and what it is: A thin utility layer to incentivize data availability and consistency. There isn't a day where I see a problem other blockchain/public dbs are having and I don't say "Pocket fixes this".

    massive upgrades on deck: Validator/servicer hard fork goes live wednesday. allows pocket to scale past 18k nodes 0.8 proposal live which allows for non custodial staking. will enable many more node providers to come online

    Generations by Strauss and Howe massively impacted my thinking about the timing and scale of what we’re building in web3. The transition is real. Great piece and thread.

    2. We live in times of a grand transition. The Web's effect on social scalability is transformational and the old regime struggles. The magnitude of the coming changes could be on a scale of Europe’s transition from monarchy to republic.
