I’m in Vegas for the SEIU/CAP forum, which organizers want candidates to use for *specific* executive actions presidents can take to expand the labor movement. "Many people here today want to join a union, but you can’t,” SEIU’s Mary Kay Henry says at start.

KENDALL, Wis. — Trump, who rallies in Green Bay tonight, may need Wisconsin's dairy farmers to win the state in 2020. But they are disappearing at a record clip as a result of his trade wars. Why "America's Dairyland" is drying up.

Seeing people argue that the president's "very fine people" remark was mischaracterized, and that he was really referring to a third group of non-racist pro-Lee protesters at the rally. As writes, this is incorrect for a number of reasons.

Spokesperson for New York AG Letitia James to me just now: "The Office of New York State Attorney General Letitia James has launched an investigation related to the National Rifle Association (NRA). As part of this investigation, the Attorney General has issued subpoenas."

Charlottesville is an enduring symbol. But of what? Biden gets it. I was its mayor. He’s right that it represents ‘a battle for the soul of this nation.’

Rod Rosenstein, who oversaw Mueller probe, repeatedly assured Trump that he would be treated fairly, that he wasn't a "target" and that he was on the president's team. At one point last fall, he grew emotional and begged not to be fired by Trump via tweet.

Full restoration of the VRA is now in the hands of Congress. A massive turnout in 2020 to change 5 Senate seats would open a path to restore voting rights protection.

Time to re-up this piece that and I did for in October: Trump’s “fairly obvious suggestion seems to be that Rosenstein’s continuing job security depends on flattering Trump and assuring Trump of his loyalty.”

Mike Pence won’t commit to refusing Russian help in the next election. Brad Parscale, now Trump’s campaign manager, denied the Russians even helped last time. Trump’s GOP doesn’t consider making use of help from a foreign enemy to be collusion; to them it’s just good politics.

Don't know if would beat Trump. Don't agree with her 100%. But of the big things that need fixing, the most fixable by the federal government is our political economy. And in that realm, nobody else is anywhere close to showing her knowledge, honesty, depth and nuance.

Unbelievable and unacceptable. The DAG should not be talking to Trump about this investigation under any circumstances, let alone making assurances while pleading for his job.
