Trying out plant-based (mix of hemp, pea, rice) protein powder, so far my muscles hurt more than with whey protein isolate but still much less than in the old days when I did nothing. Could easily be a blip though! Either way I have a new whey isolate on my list to try too.

I don't know if it was a blip but my DOMS is worse under plant-based. I have a feeling it could easily be noise though as I did a particularly good/hard leg day.

Is your one working well for you regarding DOMS? Many people with more testosterone than me tend to say they don't get DOMS as bad as me.
