Coming to terms with having lost all our furniture (completely destroyed) and other worldly possessions (possibly our clothes are OK) yesterday is really tough. Esp. since we're already under a lot of stress with our house renovation. Somehow, I suppose, this too shall pass.

I know. It's hard to see stuff worth like 10s of thousands of pounds accrued over years just destroyed utterly.

I've survived way worse. Although this has to be the most in terms of worth and quantity we've ever lost. Really in the 10s of thousands. Very painful. Don't know what we'll do for furniture, probably another loan.

Yeah. Oh, well. I mean it's really upsetting but I'm already so upset that I'm not registering this loss yet.

I'm already so sad and affected from so many other facets of the renovation experience. It's something I really don't recommend.
