I'm sorry to hear that. My MSc and my undergrads as well a visiting high school student loved it. So you think it's because you're already doing a PhD that you essentially don't have the time?

I can second that opinion. Coming back to coding after a loooong brake I found codeacademy helpful only in being an easy entry point which helped me overcome my initial fear of 'omg I barely remember anything'.

I find a 'problem-based approach' works best for me, i.e., working with actual research problems--figuring out how to break down the analyses into simpler problems, then using Google/guides to solve those
