I am going to talk a little about something that — yes, I know, I talk about it a lot — but it's been especially playing on my mind lately:
Learning how to code.

I don't think we have those classes here in egypt but might be in Europe since i'm going to do PhD there. Any book you recommend for coding for biomedical researchers? Thank you for your great help.

Ah, no idea. Sorry, not in biomed. What kind of data do you expect to deal with? If it's stats I'm assuming there's an R community...?
-
Basically, imaging data. Functional parameters like flow or turbulence will be extracted and algorithm should be developed to convert those parameters into "sound". I'm so greatful for your valuable inputs. Thanks Olivia.

That could be done in any language. I'd reach out to your peers/colleagues to see what they use.

Recently, it's been playing on mind cos I've noticed the stark contrast between my peers/friends who know how to code (even if just a wee bit) and those who do not.
