Hey, science tweeps!
I want names of women & non-binary cognitive modellers.

Tag them here or if they aren't on twitter post a link to academic websites. Pls RT so we've a good chance of finding many!

Adding a bunch of awesome colleagues who I think haven't been mentioned yet. If I am forgetting you, my apologies, add yourself or DM me!

Oh and thank you for adding to this — I guess we (I?) should make a more accessible (than a Twitter thread) list eventually. Maybe a Google spreadsheet. Hmmm. I do worry about including people who haven't explicitly opted in though.

A blog post about cool scientists doing cool work, who happen to be women/nonbinary, and which included links to their work, would surely be appreciated by all.

I'd like something more dynamic, so google spreadsheet or OSF wiki might be better options... As long as it's something that also can be edited by everyone.

Sorry that I went the "easy"/"lazy" way. I haven't any spoons/time left this week. But I'd love to see what others come up with. Like
@celestekidd says I'd love to be pleasantly surprised but for me personally not sure how to curate this & make it opt-in. http://neuroplausible.com/women-nb-cog-modellers …1 reply 0 retweets 1 like -
WRT Google spreadsheets, isn't that open to vandalism and lack of transparency (can't verify if it's opt-in or not)?

You can make it comment only with a bunch of admins accepting comments, would that be safer?

I guess so but Google would never list it off somebody Googled "Women in computational cognitive science" or similar. It just doesn't treat Google spreadsheets in the same privileged way as other websites.

*off=if. I think it should be findable/Google-able. We could make a basic website with a form but I really can't take a stab at that this week myself.

Or even this month, sadly. But maybe starting with a spreadsheet is a good idea and then transitioning?

A website could be built off of the contents of the form programmatically pretty easily...
