Hey, science tweeps!
I want names of women & non-binary cognitive modellers.

Tag them here or if they aren't on twitter post a link to academic websites. Pls RT so we've a good chance of finding many!

Good question! For me it's about experience - I don't think I can call myself a modeller if I've never actually done any modelling work. My tutorial simply includes the steps I took when trying to *learn* agent-based modelling, but I haven't taken the next step & implemented it..

When you say "done any modelling work" do you mean published or programmed? Because if you mean you haven't published anything yet, I don't think it matters really.

I think that's a good question, is there also some general hesitation to claim expertise when the stereotypical expert doesn't look like you? Is it how people react to you? (Yes, I can implement my models myself, why thank you). Or is being a modeller a bad thing, maybe?

Not bad at all, on the contrary!
