Woke up basically 2 hours ago with a migraine — somehow (no drugs) it's subsiding!

What's your specialist's opinion on which preventative to try first?

I have a hunch it's going to be a beta blocker.

I don’t have one yet—I just kind of gave up on getting proper treatment besides caffeine + OTC stuff, but I’ve been convinced to try again. I *think* I was on a beta blocker as a teen, and it did work quite well iirc.
