After years of trying to do my scientific reading on digital devices, I’ve finally accepted that nothing comes close to paper and pencil for distraction free reading and rapid annotations. My sincere apologies to the trees.

I can see why paper is useful if you find e.g., Twitter, email, etc., too distracting though. Totally get that.
-
That’s a huge thing for me. I also find I just read faster on paper. Less worried about making perfect highlights or underlines b/c meatspace is effortless.

Hey, what would you recommend for digitising notes? I'm trying to be better at archiving things but haven't found a nice solution yet.
-
Sorry, just use a text editor.
-
Ah, no worries! I have been investigating this: https://mzucker.github.io/2016/09/20/noteshrink.html …

That looks very smart!

The only problem is that it can't improve my handwriting...
-
Hahaha. Another reason I try to type stuff up in LaTeX!
