Maybe I was incredibly naive but my mind is fucking blown, all the cereals even Weetabix contain sugar. Fuck me. Nothing is sacred.

That explains something that puzzled me today. Have been eating a deliberate low carb, low fat etc diet for a couple of weeks; planned to have some All bran for breakfast but literally couldn't eat it; it was disgusting & too sweet. Shredded wheat, on the other hand, was perfect!

Yeah, All Bran does have sugar! BTW I am glad you said this about your palette — I often tell people to be careful not to wreck their palette (esp. with sugar), so nice to know fixing it is just as possible.
