At first, I thought this guy was a parody politician, like Lord Buckethead.
Mostly agreed. His views are particularly bad IMHO. I think his wealth and peerage are gross either way, especially since he doesn't seem particularly ideologically Labour.

I largely believe any good he's done is accidental since he's purely maximising his own profit (literally) at ever juncture.

This has been a very interesting discussion from my perspective: an American (with some British family), who simply thought that "Lord Sugar" is the kind of thing you'd name the villain in a blaxploitation film.
