I used to think everybody had "comfies" (what I call them). The stuff you change into when you get home. Then I realised at university that some people lounge around at home in denim??? Strange people.

In preparation of my sabbatical last semester, I bought, like, five pairs of sweat pants/yoga pants/leggings. I do my best thinking in an elastic waist band.

I spent most of sabbatical in yoga pants. It would be time to pick kids up from school and I would think - I need to change - and then not bother.

I know what it is to chase kids around and get them out the door. These parents are walking with their kids, getting them safely to school, exercising themselves and their children by walking, making sure their kids are dressed, and being criticized.
