I used to think everybody had "comfies" (what I call them). The stuff you change into when you get home. Then I realised at university that some people lounge around at home in denim??? Strange people.

My first thought was "why don't you wear comfy clothes to start with?" and then "Wait... Maybe the average outfit for men is way more comfy than for women?" and also "Maybe denims are very uncomfy and I did not realize?"

There's a lot to unpack. But to be clear, I started doing this from a young age from when I had to wear a school uniform. And yes, obviously a uniform skirt and a non-stretch shirt aren't as comfy as leisurewear.

But for sure there are people who don't change who are from Cyprus and the UK.

For me changing is inherently relaxing. The act of putting on fresh clothes that are looser. I also shower twice a day, which again I find inherently relaxing.
