I've also ripped the back of my feet to shreds. New shoes are nasty. Unwearable. Was only walking for 15 minutes. Really annoyed.
I probably won't be able to be good at bouldering later on today.
Totally BS that the shop insisted these are the same as the ones I tried on.

They've exhausted me. I've tried already but they don't believe me the shoes are different to the ones I tried on. I mean they know they are a different pair because they replaced them for me but they don't accept it's a qualitative difference that hurts me.

That's ridiculous! Surely they should be willing to refund you if the product is faulty? Or am I making that up?

Shambolic practice from this company. I'm sorry you've been through all this trouble.

The shoes are lovely! But the company does need to take responsibility.

I wish when I went in they just said "this is a known problem we will replace them for you" instead of "I have a pair like this too it's normal for these shoes but other shoes we stock don't have this problem". I am thinking about what to do as I like they are taking advantage.
