Something I feel few understand is that unlike them I can't leave the UK for my home country after Brexit. Yes, I'm lucky to have a British passport, but I also have no home. Nowhere I can say will accept me, except London & that's only cos I fought really hard for it for years.

Damn, I didn't realise you had no legal status in Cyprus. At least with your British passport you could move to Ireland and naturalise there, which I am considering.

Purely added as a possible measure of retaining EU citizenship, I mean.

I will apply to get Cypriot nationality and citizenship at some point as since I left I have been told the EU forced Cyprus to change the rules and I now have a chance of becoming Cypriot legally.

Oh I misunderstood - you don't have another EU nationality at all? Good luck, I hope you get it. I'm definitely going to use my old passport after 2019. How did that happen, if it's OK for you to talk about?

I never had one. Cyprus didn't see me as a citizen even though I'm otherwise Cypriot (ethnically).

I was born there. My mum is Cypriot.
