Something I feel few understand is that unlike them I can't leave the UK for my home country after Brexit. Yes, I'm lucky to have a British passport, but I also have no home. Nowhere I can say will accept me, except London & that's only cos I fought really hard for it for years.

So ofc, feel free to bash the UK. I do it too. But I dunno, it's lonely when you all start saying "I'll just move to X". Cyprus rejected me as a child. And I took years and years to build a home in London and that's the only one I have. Some immigrants are more lost than others.

I know I'm probably alone in this but I do wish my home country was more of a home to me.

I don't particularly want to ever return to my home country to live. I couldn't wait to leave it at 18...and that was almost 25(!) years ago
