Is that uk? It is one of the reasons I did not resist there more than 3 years. Perhaps, even more, the lack of a proper summer.

Yes, it' London. Well, it's winter now so probably unfair to say it should be compared to summer. I'm from probably the sunniest place I can think of — we only have max 5 days a year without sun. I just learned to cope as the culture here otherwise fits my lifestyle.

The things impressed me most when I was living there (Brighton) were: how fast was changing the weather (and how different could be within the same day!); the lack of over-30° in summer time: outrageous.

Yes, it's tough. Although I think I have been here so long and without going home for summer that I doubt I can cope well with 30 let alone 40 which is the new normal for Nicosia in the hight of summer.

Well, you can adjust to the british level and start to say: "uh! it's scorching!" when thermometer goes higher than 25° :-)
-
I would be happy if it was 10, to be honest! It's been so cold!

I guess "sun" has a different meaning in London ;)

I'm sorry, Olivia, I think I'm just jealous because the weather here right now is really gloomy :(
-
It's back to gray here.
