How do people recover their motivation from a migraine? I am left with this hazy feeling and it's hard to concentrate but also I just feel like watching wash bear videos.
Obviously you can eat anything you like but recommending chocolate to a migraine sufferer as a general rule is a huge no-no, Frouke! Known trigger! (Hanna might of course be the exception! But most of us can't eat chocolate.)

I can eat chocolate normally and I haven't noticed a link between diet and migraines.

Me too! I have been eating so much today. I've had two nut bars, a soy chocolate pudding and a bag of crisps even though I've had a normal lunch! I could easily eat more!

The only thing for me with respect to diet that causes migraines is alcohol. And yes, you crave calorie dense food, at least in my experience, cos you usually have just recovered from stomach stasis. So even if you haven't thrown up, you haven't actually been digesting food.

Stomach stasis is really rough. Could it be you need to get your stomach moving more? If you're under your usual calorie intake it might be worth getting your doctor to prescribe something to get out of stasis sooner, get your stomach back in gear?

Domperidone (sold as Motilium), if you haven't already tried it, helps.

This is not over the counter medication any more. I use this drug a lot in my research.

my stomach feels okay now though -
Yeah, that's why I said "prescribe". I don't even take it anymore as I'm way too sensitive for it. Had no idea you use this a lot. Sorry!
