Yet many people, scientists or not, will treat you as a fool for questioning conventional truths. I have had many interesting discussions with avid atheists who claim to endorse science, as their lack of uncertainty by definition is unscientific.

Yea, of course you have to live by what you find most likely, but not even being open to contradicting information is still highly unscientific. I find it highly improbable that a God exists, and I base my way of living around that assumption, but would never claim 100% certainty
