I agree, but clearly they do and the silence when it happens by those who must notice and otherwise do not fail to speak up, is deafening.

Yes I know. And it’s not something I normally do. Only in extreme circumstances and luckily they’re few and far apart. But still... you are right; it shouldn’t be necessary.
