If these are our ‘science advocates’ I think we are in trouble. Both in science and outside.

But just to clarify, there are people within science who are totally out of touch. There are patterns that are disturbing, like the same groups winning prizes over and over. There are people paid millions where 99% are paid thousands.

That's not science, they claim it is, which is not the same. It lacks understanding of other knowledge that should be taken into account and that is, deliberately or not, ignored! But I see your point.

I think it's tricky to say it's not science because most of science has been and is sexist, sadly.
