Today was my second workout in 3 days with protein shakes (pre and post), BCAA, and glutamine. I think they def take the edge off my DOMS but nowhere near 100% nor 50% either — just the edge, making everything way more bearable. Also I really don't feel as wiped out.

I don’t think we’re exceptionally emotional, we’re just more aware of it because as women we’ve been socially conditioned to believe it. Men are very emotional too, but most of their emotions (except anger) are invalidated so they’re less self-aware. -

unless I’m training towards an event I generally don’t push too hard. Many people subconsciously use exercise as a crutch to escape emotions, leading to overtraining and injury. I’ve been down that road. So generally my focus is listening to and caring for your body.
