There's men drinking on the tube. Firstly, not allowed. Secondly, it's 11am!

I keep asking other Americans how anyone is supposed to learn Responsible Drinking when they’re not allowed to legally drink until they’ve largely left their parents’ guidance already.
-
In the USA it is sometimes a thing where first day they can legal drink they go out and have a shot for every year… 21 shots, and some/many of them end up dying because of how stupid it is. In Germany, this would be at 18 and the parents would be all, “Oy! NO!"
-
Actually, I suppose it would be 16, and the bartender would be all, “nope, no shots until 18… here’s your beer.” Either way…
-
I have never seen the drinking age enforced where I'm from. Nevertheless, we don't get drunk in the same way as people from colder countries seem to.

-
True, it would only be enforced in this story because they would order 16 shots specifically to celebrate their 16th birthday. _Normally_ one would keep their head down and just order their beers and be happy with it.
-
Oh, I still believe it should be enforced by the way. I don't see traffic rules enforced where I'm from either and it's hell.
