I'm still weirded out by this whole "drinking on the street" thing they have in England. That's always been illegal in Scotland as long for at least 15 years.

Is that cos you're too drunk to make it outside?
OK, but seriously, I had no idea. Its certainly illegal in some areas of London though and it's not allowed on the tube. -
Yeah, Scotland has big alcohol problems. We have the toughest licensing and alcohol laws of anywhere in Western Europe IIRC ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
-
Woah! There's places (Norway?) where you can only buy alcohol from the government — no idea how that helps anything of course. But yeah, Scotland. Hmm. Solidarity with my Northern siblings.

-
Ooops, yeah. That totally wins.
-
So weird though, right?
-
I've just accepted that many things in Norway are weird. Like their funny brown cheese and the genius of vending machines on trains.

Does this mean the tube is running now?
-
Yes, definitely running on the Victoria line. Trains are on normal time, "in 1 minute", etc.
-
I nearly got it from Finsbury Park around 10 but phone said there were still delays. Had to give up and get the bus earlier.
-
Ugh. Are you safely at your destination now? Awful weather to be needlessly sick outside.
-
*stuck! Not sick.

I think there is both a big football and a big rugby match in London today. (Not an excuse just an explanation! Much cheaper than at the stadium)
-
Yeah! You're absolutely right! And they are actually being OK.
-
Given it's
#NorthLondonDerby — I'm actually impressed with the civility.
