On my legs, it is rather fun and a sign of a job well done. In my arms, it's a bit of an annoyance. My chest, though? No, oh, god no. But it is all a sign of a job well done, so the worst DOMS is better than... the best... non-DOMS? I think I've butchered the phrasing, haha.

Not sure I agree because it's literally every other day for me. DOMS in my legs is by far the worst for me personally, while arms, back, abs, chest, sides are bearable even if the same level of pain. Right now I just have legs, abductors, abducers, ham strings because that's what

I worked out. Tonight itself chest, back, arms and abs. Then Monday bouldering.
Bouldering is more well rounded but everything hurts afterwards on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Also I could be wrong but last time I checked there's no evidence DOMS implies "a good workout" sadly.

That's quite surprising (not disagreeing) because the more or better I do, the more noticeable the DOMS is the following few days. But this is purely anecdotal.

I don't disagree, I obviously have the same experience. But I'm not sure it's a good measure for the population level. That is, it's correlated but perhaps only for certain people.
