No. There is a reflexiveness about protecting bodegas in the states atm because they are typically run by immigrants (and beloved). So if you know what they are but get mad at the invasion of Spanish in your lexicon, then that is not on.

I know what they are now. The corner shops here are mostly Turkish-run, with a few West Indian shops too. Though there's a huge Latin community in my neighbourhood so they can find some of their favourite products in the Turkish and West Indian shops.
