Then who were you referring to? It was very clearly a specific person.

Jesus man, what are you going on about? You said you owed me an apology and you still do! My tweet was a general observation on many tweets which happens to have excluded @PsychRabble’s tweet bec I never read it (I don’t follow him). But multiple men tweeted in the same fashion.

Is there another instance where someone used the term "lived experience" in the same way? Please provide an example. Also, you accused me of calling you names. Can you tell me where?

No. Honestly you are doubling down at this point. And if you think I need to prove my honesty to you, you are gravely mistaken. That’s too much entitlement. I owe you nothing; you owe me an apology.

Given the specificity of the language, I think it's understandable that I would assume you were responding to him. If you can tell me what you were replying to specifically, I'm happy to apologize. When did I call you names?

Thank you Sean. You have clearly overstayed your welcome in this particular conversation by way of failing to listen. I don’t know what’s with the attitude and the questioning. My tweet was what I meant it to be; not what *you* want it to be. So well... Adios.

I'll take that as a "no." I'll also assume you can't produce evidence that I ever engaged in name-calling. Happy to let this end unless you can address the remaining questions.

Sean: unless (in addition to accusation of being disingenuous re: target of OP/following Lee) you are also accusing her of feeling the future [note the time-stamps], I think an apology is in order. Folks decrying lived experience aren't that uncommon on the internet.pic.twitter.com/TSlo6j9diM

This is a fair point John. Thanks. I agree that I should have been more careful with my offer of an apology. With that said, Twitter timestamps are localized, I believe. So they reflect the time zone of the individual user. Not universal relative to UTC.

I do not know her time zone, but I beleive Lee is Eastern. So it would reflect a later time.

Twitter timestamps show the time something was posted in your local time. So if I post something at my time 9am and you reply after 1min, your reply (even though you're in another timezone) is at 9:01am.

She's blocked you, though I'm you've apologized publicly. But let's concretize a few things here: 1) There are many *good* reasons she may have been reluctant to disclose "target" of tweet; 2) Given what's transpired here, you can't blame her for not trusting you with that info.>

I agree with much of what you say here. But I don't necessarily agree that failing to disclose the target of the Tweet from an anonymous account is justified. Need to sleep on that.

Your misperception is your problem, not hers. If you cannot fathom any reason at all why a female professional would not name names in a post about sexism (least of all to someone badgering her like this), I can add a few more suggested things to think about while sleeping.

These are real problems, no doubt. But I feel that if one is going to accuse someone of being sexist (a strong charge), they should be able to defend themselves.
