LOL, no, they are either followback bots or trawlers- either they just randomly follow people in hopes of follow backs, or they trawl and follow keywords.

Some people soft block bots but since my follower count isn't important I just ignore them.

I'm worse than you I don't even notice when bots follow me because shamefully I every rarely check my non-mentions notifications.

Yes, that's a trawler bot. It has a bot that will autofollow anyone who talks about followers. There probably isn't a real Owen
