At least forty per cent of my sentences go “and she was, like, literally...” or “gonna” or “kindof” or they end in up-speak or they don’t really end, but just trail off and it DOESN’T MATTER.

Seriously, there is nothing more tedious than trying to police how people (which mostly means women, and mostly younger women) speak. Just give it up. Language changes: we can all understand each other.
