Thanks for that reference, Olivia. “Proponents of scientism believe that science is inherently moral. They are mistaken. Science on its own cannot tell us right from wrong.” I already had a sense that the naturalistic fallacy was playing a role as well.

because, as the more daring admit, they have nothing to lose. The use of scientism is probably an attempt of appropriation of the “opponent” language, misrepresenting it to induce confusion and designed to produce a variety of useful fallacies. Remember Olivia? We talk about it.
