One of the most interesting things I learned in 2017 is that people obviously self-organise on Twitter. Even with my small number of followers/unfollowers the cliques and groupings follow (and indeed unfollow; pun intended) very specific patterns.

Somebody in a previous lab I worked somebody asserted in a hipster. I was really confused why they think goth is hipster but I just bit my lip.
