Also chickens! Apparently they are feral, but I'm not sure if the guy was pulling my leg. Anyway, they are everywhere! And final photo is this huge bird. Gigantic. A chicken hawk. Makes sense to be huge then, I guess!

I think it's either https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_black_hawk … or https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Common_black_hawk … but can't be sure... Need to read more to see which of the two but it was HUGE!
Wow how big is that gecko? No scale bar!
Roughly three times bigger than the average Cypriot one, I think. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tropical_house_gecko … "This species can attain a maximum length, from snout to vent, of 12.7 cm (5 in)."
Confusing though as the distributions are not described in enough detail. And I haven't seen a Cypriot one in years... "They are insectivorous, rarely exceeding 15 centimetres (5.9 in) in length" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mediterranean_house_gecko …
That's actually not that far off from my crested gecko (originally from New Zealand). Sadly, the Wikipedia article doesn't have dimensions: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crested_gecko …pic.twitter.com/os2e6YvOxF
They all seem to be similar in size, yeah.
Whoa! Also, geck!
