got it - but if it's after an intense workout, it's more of a cool down, which is more what I was getting at. I wasn't suggesting it as a workout on its own.

It does, but to Paul's point, the studies on HIIT suggest more overall benefit than the usual cardio workout, possible the continued burn after the workout.

Try weight training with HIIT. I think it's good for jump-starting muscle growth. :)

Agree! I wouldn't be surprised if your gym (Olivia) has such a program. They are killer, but you'll definitely notice the difference!

Sadly not at a time I can go, if they do. I'll Google around and try to see what I can teach myself. My gym has a lot of equipment for helping people lift heavy stuff without a spotter.
