I know. I read the whole conversation (I think). I understand you *mean* to use it gender neutral but I agree with @o_guest that the term isn't gender neutral (the dictionary notwithstanding)

Kind of tangent: the nicest thing about this was the people feeling included. This is why it's so important to think of gender neural ways of talking. People feel you're including them when most people don't. This is why I try my best, but it's tough especially when speaking.
