I thought with dynamically typed languages you were supposed to just roll, don't care about the types, etc. but the thing is I've been trying to figure out the types for every single piece and this is legit a waste of time

yeah -_- don't get me wrong, I love python for lots of stuff (mainly image processing, etc.) especially after your matlab piece :D but like I said after a dozen of lines I go full "types are a lie" mode
