I used to wear docs a lot, but I wore them out so quickly..
I have cheaper boots now. Might get a pair of docs and keep them as nice boots

I have mine from 2011 still going strong. There are for life DMs, but I've heard mixed reviews. What exactly did you wear out?

Mine were the cheap ones... (skint undergrad). It's the soles that got worn out, at the heels IIRC. I walk a lot and I'm big. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I used to work in a shop (for £5.20 an hour) that sold hand-made English shoes for £500! They would last for life. But whoever bought them also had 7 other pairs and they rotated them to keep them good.

I have 7 pairs of DMs — hahahah. The "for life" boots will replace the sole for you, but like I said I have heard mixed reviews. http://www.drmartens.com/uk/p/originals-boots-smooth-hardlife-1460-forlife …

Also BTW since you wear out the soles... these are so lovely: http://www.drmartens.com/uk/p/originals-boots-fine-haircell-8761-bxb-boot …

Haha! You are so tall you don't even fit in your profile picture! And/or: if you are already super tall why does another inch or so matter? /trolling

I honestly think that an extra inch might result in me getting a concussion from some door frames! I'll have to do some scouting to double check daily doors

Yeah, being facetious... my partner is tall and he doesn't fit through our kitchen doorway, etc., etc. Short enough to at least end where the bed ends, I know it's annoying if too tall for standard beds...

My pro tip is to use a double duvet system... Drape one duvet over bottom half of the bed to keep away draughts from feet. Works a charm

We already have our own duvets each — hahaha, because I can't share.
