But to be clear, I wouldn't use those words even if I hate somebody. Just like I wouldn't say racist or sexist words.

I hear you. Sometimes I say these words when I am frustrated with someone. Has nothing to do with race or anything else. Just a manifestation of my impatience I guess. But that's just me.

My point is that ableism is a kind of bigotry like racism or sexism.

I find that being a neuroscientist helps purge one of using these two words in particular

Indeed, but I'm witnessing a specific case. In fact I'd argue: work hard to never use those words, ever.
