This is going to sound a boastful, but a few times in the past year I've had people say explicitly that they really appreciated me giving them help. I don't think I did that much, but it made me realise how little help they were getting from other "colleagues"

Yes! I've been told by more academically junior women that I'm their role model. All I did was show up to work as myself. It's abysmal.

Thanks! But honestly it's just some basic people skills. I worked in retail and customer service for a few years, and I expect that probably helped.
