Migraine since Friday, haven't eaten or showered or pretty much done anything since then. No idea if it's over yet, but sitting up and trying to eat. Not allowed to take painkillers (except ones I don't have yet). 😫

I'm allowed to take Naproxen every day or nothing. Because with any painkillers you can get into a cycle where you cause migraine due to taking them erratically and creating waves which cause migraines. If you take any more than 10+ times a month but not everyday it's a risk.

Nobody told me about not taking more than 10 a month. Oh, well. 💜

Yeah, medication overuse headaches. I feel pretty good now tho. Surprisingly. Gonna move to taking painkillers and preventatives every day soon, not just prevention. I wish it had been made clear to me I would basically have a 4-day migraine from hell if I started overusing. 😂

Happy you are feeling better! No physician told me either, luckily a pharmaceutical friend did. Recently I've been told that migraines are basically fear conditioning & by a well-known neurologist. :/

That is not OK. Ignore them? I don't trust neurologists on migraine, this is why I go to a specialist only on migraines. I think neurologists in generally aren't very trustworthy for anything more psychological. 😂

The guy is probably reading us now (he follows me) but in his defense he is supposed to be an expert in migraines. Shocking idea but it may be the case that conditioning could aggravate it. Dunno. It amused me (obvious reasons), just thought that it might amuse you too.

If he was a Greek Cypriot ethnonationalist the headline would write itself: "Turks made her migraine worse!" 😂

My first neurologist has a son who is an ethnonationalist so it's not too far-fetched. 🤣
