Am I supposed to deduce this is popular cos no1 has written such a direct guide before? Cos there's 100s of them — mine's somehow optimised?https://twitter.com/o_guest/status/926489531112742915 …

I think this is the gist of it. ppl retweet stuff they think is helpful/interesting to other. it doesn't have to be unprecedented to RT.
-
I think what gets me is there's nothing wrong with propagating for propagation's sake but is that going to result in low quality control?
-
I don't know the answer but it makes me skeptical of journal articles with high altmetrics occasionally.

-
Skeptical of what the altmetrics is capturing outside of what we just mentioned above that is.
-
I have a very high altmetric paper, just because the title made it retweetable imo.
-
Do you think RTable == propagation for propagation's sake?
-
Could be!

I think it’s also popular because *you’re* so popular. You endorsing (creating!) a guide is worth checking out for many

-
Oh, that is so sweet of you to say.
