It's more Greek to Turkish than Cypriot tho. Dolmades/dolma are koupepi/a in Cyprus.

The "ae" is pronounced like the ğ in Turkish: loukoumağes.

Ha. Now I check and it's lokmaes and lokmades in Cyprus and loukoumades in Greece. My brain is so fried kinda like lokma.
