I am sure you know this and you can answer it easily but please if I'm wrong don't spend too long on it... do you know if what I mention in

Take a look at https://github.com/uwescience/shablona … has a nice example of setup.py etc, missing only cython details but good starting point
-
My only problem is that my knowledge of Cython and setup.py is very minimal. I will try my best. I managed to rename my module. I'm slowly
-
but surely getting some of the hang of this. Oh, and also my make knowledge is limited to just really basic C stuff.
-
But thank you all/both for the help so far! I've managed so much in so little time because of all your help.

-
So to check I'm on the right track here... setup.py is a way of installing stuff using pip or like telling pip how to install your module?
-
Or something! And I need to fill it in so pip can do pip magic?
-
yep! setup.py is the Python-standard way of indicating how to install stuff.

-
Oh, and thank you for the suggestions. Doing the pypi submission...
