So you think sexual disinhibition can not be caused by drugs and mental illness, because you know some people where it doesn't?
No, I think it's misleading to say that's the cause given how often I experience it from completely sober men.
I'm saying it's a bit of a get out clause, an excuse, and it's not the commonest cause. Also most people on drugs (including alcohol) behave
within the law, don't sexually harass/assault women, etc. And many people with mental health issues do not do this either. To draw parallels
Agreed, I really was trying to confer that I find this behavior abnormal and deranged, and wouldn't expect it from any colleague I know.
But this is so common that chances are at some point ouch have or will have a buddy like this. It's important to not give them excuses.
All of the men who have only talked to my chest or questioned my skills were completely sober and stable.
It's hard to describe how awful this is in a way that doesn't imply a lack of agency - deranged, lack of boundaries, idiotic etc
