As a non-Briton, I know that 50/50 gender can be easily done if school subjects weren't so heavily gendered. But it's tough to change.

I did compsci UG and 100 men mostly British with 3 Cypriot women making up about half of the women on the course. Not coincidence.

We unfortunately are v sexist tho telling women they are crap at everything, so then they just do what they like. It's freeing but bad idea.
