Replying to @elneurozorro @a_brhm
It's complex but basically very sketchy service akin to no service.

Regarding bus lanes, OMG REALLY?! People don't just drive their private vehicles in them?

To underline the public transport issue. I don't personally know of anybody who has used it in Cyprus.

I think one very poor student in my middle school used it, I went to a government run school. And maybe my brother once but after I left.

Cyprus is probably the only EU country which can't enforce the smoking ban so I doubt they can do this. They all park on the sidewalk too.

Wow that's crazy. I guess it's mostly weird cuz I associate poorer countries w/ having perhaps dysfunctional/messy PT, but with PT.

Like in every little town in Mexico there is some sort of public transport, and everyone uses it. My grandma never learned how to drive.

Having said that, half of those buses are super sketchy and god knows where they go, but they go.

Obviously in MX city its another story. Metro, metrobuses, etc. Pretty good. Great even luxurious inter-city coaches too.

I feel you. Economic disparity. Also huge country. Seb in my lab is Mexican and he's never even heard of Holbox island.
