When I'm tagged in threads on Matlab I end up linking to THAT blog post. So in many ways I'm glad I wrote it & weathered that storm already.

I do not like WYIWYG GUIs at all. I like just plain code. If I can get away with making all of my figures and drawings using code, I will.
