#JuliaLang? If you were coming from Matlab and/or R, it may be a better fit that#Python for you. -

#JuliaLang without losing those ecosystems, plus call C and Fortran directly. -

I think it's a great language for lots of things (even general programming, not just technical/numeric/scientific), and community is great!

I expect he'll contribute, but the section on python mentions the portability of his work. Never again tied to a licence restriction.
