Agreed. Different departments have different academic cultures. This is a Dept. of CogSci problem.

Banning the university harms all faculty (majority of whom are decent) and trainees. It has to be investigator specific.

I'm not sure I believe majority are decent actually. Minority are descent. Powerful groups and their followers (= majority) are complicit.
