It was a big eye-opener to me that all these men were willing to say this to my face. I learned a lot about what they think about the world.

Amusingly, the rudest & most aggressive was a cis gay man, the 2nd-4th rudest were Greek AFIAIK straight men (so added cultural ideologies).
